Jan Peter van der Ree has been appointed as General Manager at Park Hyatt Zurich

Jan Peter van der Ree has now taken over as General Manager at Park Hyatt Zurich. He succeeds Jacques Morand, who will himself be taking over van der Ree's previous position as General Manager at Grand Hyatt Istanbul. The Dutchman discovered his passion for hospitality during his studies at the Hotel School The Hague, from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hotel Management. Van der Ree has enjoyed an international career with Hyatt Hotels since 1988, contributing to the success of individual establishments. He began his career with Hyatt in 1988, at the Hyatt Regency Cologne. In 1993, he took over the position of General Manager at Hyatt Regency Jeju in South Korea. Following positions have included General Manager at Hyatt Regency Cologne, Park Hyatt Saigon in Vietnam and Grand Hyatt Dubai, before he moved to Grand Hyatt Istanbul.

Jan Peter van der Ree is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague – Class of 1986.
