Kelly Lewis has been appointed as General Manager at Dusit D2 Phuket Resort

The official opening of the dusit D2 hotel in Patong was also a day of celebration for Kelly Lewis, who signed a contract the same day to be general manager of the property. Mr Lewis was until recently GM of the Indigo Pearl Resort on Nai Yang Beach, a post he took up un July 2011. After graduating from the University of Arizona in his native USA with a degree in psychology, Mr Lewis embarked on a career in hotels in 1989 at the Hyatt Regency Maui. His first appointment as GM came in 2003 in Arizona, managing the Daufuskie Resort and Breathe Spa and then The Carefree Resort & Villas. This was followed by the The Grove Isle Hotel & Spa in Miama, Florida, the Hotel Victor (part of Hyatt) in the same city, and the Makena Beach & Golf Resort in Maui, before he moved to Thailand and the Indigo Pearl.
