Starting a new job can be intimidating, but for Hemant Tenneti, it signals excitement rather than fear. With more than 15 years of experience in the food & beverage and conventions fields, Tenneti is poised for success in his new position as the Hotel Manager of the Courtyard Pune Chakan. Before taking on the role at this Pune business hotel, Tenneti worked with hotelier giants including Taj and Accor Hotels, and was part of the team that worked on the pre-opening of South Asia’s largest convention center, Hyderabad International Convention Centre (Novotel Hyderabad), in 2006. In 2011 he joined the Marriott family, taking on the role of Director of Food & Beverage at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments. In his new position as manager at this premier Pune hotel, Tenneti will be responsible for overseeing the daily hotel operations, brand management and positioning strategies; developing strategy; delivering revenues and costs; and ensuring rewarding relationships with the associates to stay in line with Marriott’s strong HR values.

Hemant Tenneti is an alumnus of IHM Chennai | Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition – Class of 1998.
