Loews Coronado Bay Resort has announced that Brian Johnson has been appointed managing director. Johnson brings more than 31 years of hospitality-industry experience to his role as managing director having most recently served as managing director of Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, a 398-room property nestled in Arizona’s Catalina Foothills. Johnson began his career with Loews Hotels & Resorts as general manager for the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel in Orlando, Florida. Prior to Loews he worked with Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, where he began his career in 1983 at the Sheraton Harbor Island East (now the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina) property.

Brian Johnson is an alumnus of University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) .
