Alain Kropf (49) has been named General Manager du of the new hôtel Royal Savoy in Lausanne. Lausanne-born Kropf has more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry. During his career he worked at the Montreux Palace (Director of Conference & Catering Services/F&B Manager), at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi (Executive Assistant Manager F&B/Resident Manager), at the Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana Hotel, in Abu Dhabi (General Manager) and the Shangri-la Jakarta, à Jakarta. Mr. Kropf is a graduate of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and holds an MBA of the University of Warwick (UK).

Alain Kropf is an alumnus of EHL Hospitality Business School – Class of 1990.
