Larry Tompkins has been named Controller at Chaminade Resort & Spa

Benchmark Hospitality International®, a leading U.S.-based hospitality management company, has named Larry Tompkins controller for Chaminade Resort & Spa, a Benchmark Resort® located in Santa Cruz overlooking Monterey Bay. Kevin Herbst, Benchmark's general manager at the resort, made the announcement. "I am very pleased to announce Larry's promotion," said Mr. Herbst. "His leadership skills and financial acumen will serve our resort well, as will his familiarity with the property. This is a well-deserved promotion and another great example of how Benchmark builds careers." Larry Tompkins' hospitality career spans three decades. He was most recently assistant controller for Chaminade Resort & Spa, a position he assumed in 2011. Prior to joining Benchmark Hospitality International, Mr. Tompkins held financial leadership positions at hotels and resorts throughout the southwestern United States. He and his wife reside in Santa Cruz.
