BAIO Hotels and Resorts, a new exciting lifestyle hotel has appointed Marija Tjie as the new General Manager of Kuta Playa Hotel and Villas. As part of the CASABIO resort collection brand, Kuta Playa Hotel and Villas will be the new iconic property right at the heart of the famous Kuta beach, Bali, Indonesia, comprising 143 hotel rooms and 13 villas with private pool, 2 public pools, all day dining restaurant and bar.
Marija Tjie joins BAIO Hotels and Resorts following several positions as the General Manager of the Holiday Inn express Bali and Harris Riverview Kuta, she brings more than 23 years of global hospitality experience to her role. As the new General Manager of The Kuta Playa Hotel and Villas, Marija Tjie will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operation and responsible for financial performance of the property.
It was in 2005, she was then appointed as the Executive Assistant Manager and began her career in the senior role in Accor group, Tauzia and Intercontinental group before finally joining BAIO Hotels and Resorts as the General Manager of The Kuta Playa Hotel and Villas.
