Michael Reich has been appointed as Director of Group Sales at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa

Prior to joining The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa, Reich was the regional director of sales and marketing for The Westin Baltimore Washington Airport and Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport Hotel. Reich has also held the roles of regional director of sales and marketing for a number of prominent hotel brands including Interstate Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels and Wyndham Hotels. He began his career with Marriott, growing to become Director of Sales and Marketing. Originally from Orlando, FL, he graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Hospitality Management. Fresh off a $30 million complete renovation, the resort has re-emerged as a luxury oceanfront destination with unparalleled beachfront event space. The expanded air access to Savannah- Hilton Head Airport to over 4000 arriving seats daily, enables groups to bask in the resort’s 37,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space including 19 meeting rooms. With 9,500 square feet of dedicated outdoor event space, groups can easily plan ocean-side functions without limiting guests’ use of the newly upgraded pool area.
