The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: HOT), announced today the appointment of Ian Pullan as the new General Manager. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Pullan brings 24 years of hospitality experience from premier destination hotels around North America and beyond. As the new General Manager of the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond destination resort, Pullan will continue to uphold the property's commitment to uncompromising service in one of America's most breathtaking settings. The St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort offers expansive views of the Pacific Ocean, an unparalleled seaside golf experience on the championship Monarch Beach Golf Links, and access to one of the most excusive beaches in Southern California. Pullan began his hospitality career in 1990 in the front office with Conrad Hotels in Dublin, Ireland. Since then, he has held a variety of leadership roles for Conrad, Omni, Jurys Doyle Group and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, with positions in Los Angeles, Dublin, Bermuda, Toronto, Kansas City, Vancouver, B.C., and on the Kohala Coast in Hawaii. In his most recent role, Pullan served as the general manager for the flagship InterContinental Hotel in Boston.

Ian Pullan is an alumnus of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology – Class of 1989.
