Ronald van Weezel has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Sydney

Hilton Worldwide today announced the appointment of Ronald van Weezel as general manager of Hilton Sydney. He will be responsible for the entire operation of the 579-room flagship hotel in Sydney and will report to Ashley Spencer, vice president, operations, Australasia, Hilton Worldwide. Mr. van Weezel arrives to Hilton Sydney with extensive hospitality experience in several different functions across Europe and Asia. Born in Holland, Ronald commenced his career more than 36 years ago at the Hilton Amsterdam, rising through the food and beverage ranks to become general manager. Throughout his career, he has completed a variety of assignments across Europe, the UK, Israel, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia. His appointment to Hilton Sydney is Ronald’s fourth role as general manager with Hilton, including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Berlin and Brisbane.

Ronald van Weezel is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague – Class of 1978.
