VS has promoted Janet Snyder, head of the firm’s satellite office in Asheville, North Carolina, to Senior Vice President. "Janet specializes in markets throughout the Carolinas, as well as the South and the Mid-Atlantic regions. Her detailed approach, re-adapted to fit each individual hotel assignment, translates into clear, comprehensive conclusions of a hotel’s feasibility or value,” said HVS Senior Managing Director Rod Clough, MAI. “Her hotel consulting and valuation work spans hundreds of assignments in rural, mountain, beachfront, urban, and metropolitan markets across the South. Her promotion reflects years of hard work and high praise from her clients and team." Janet’s hotel assignments range from feasibility studies for proposed hotels to appraisals of complex full-service properties. This includes hotels in high-profile leisure markets, such as Asheville and Myrtle Beach, as well as regional convention markets like Charlotte and Charleston. She has also conducted appraisals for numerous upscale boutique hotels. Janet joined HVS in 2005 and previously worked for Hilton Hotels out of Dallas.
