Sanderson has held various events, marketing and community relations positions throughout Oregon, serving as special events manager for Sade Project Management in The Dalles, community relations coordinator for Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital and development manager for Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River. Sanderson was born and raised just 55 miles east of Skamania Lodge in Wasco, Ore. and has visited the lodge since the age of 10, celebrating many special occasions there similar to the ones she will be helping to create.
