Mickael Damelincourt has been appointed as Managing Director at Trump International Hotel

TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION™ announced today the appointment of Mickael Damelincourt to Managing Director of Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C.. The hotel is slated to open in mid-2016 after a $200 million redevelopment of the iconic Pennsylvania Avenue landmark, The Old Post Office. Damelincourt is currently General Manager of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto® and will relocate to Washington D.C. this summer. Damelincourt has been General Manager of Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto® for more than five years. Under his direction, the property earned the prestigious Forbes Five-Star award and was named the #1 luxury hotel in Canada by TripAdvisor in 2013 and 2014. Damelincourt was previously the Executive Assistant Manager of Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago, where he helped oversee the property's opening and build a foundation that would later lead the hotel to earn a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond status. Before joining TRUMP HOTEL COLLECTION, Damelincourt served as the Director of Finance for the Conrad Hotel, Chicago. He received his MBA in International Management and Finance from the MBA Institute (Group IPESUP) Business School in Paris, France in 2001. Trump International Hotel, Washington, D.C. will feature 270 richly luxurious guestrooms, averaging more than 600 square feet and making them the largest in Washington, D.C., with lofty 16-foot ceilings, soaring windows, beautifully restored historic millwork, and glittering crystal sconces and chandeliers. It will offer a total of 36,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the opulent 13,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the largest among D.C. luxury hotels, and a 5,000-square-foot luxury spa and fitness center.
