Simarjeet Singh has been appointed General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi / Saket, the mid-market hotel located within the DLF Place Mall in Saket, in the heart of South Delhi’s shopping and recreation districts and in close proximity to the business hubs in Nehru Place, Okhla and Jasola. Simarjeet took charge on June 1, 2015, and he reports to Daniel Welk, Vice President, Operations - India, Hilton Worldwide. Simarjeet’s career in the lodging industry spans over 15 years and includes General Manager and Food and Beverage Service positions with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, The Claridges Hotel Group and the Jaypee Group. Most recently, he was General Manager for Park Plaza Gurgaon. Simarjeet started his career as Food and Beverage Assistant with Radisson Hotel, New Delhi. Thereafter, he held various positions in Food and Beverage Service with Le Meridien, Mumbai; Uppal’s Orchid Hotel, New Delhi; The Claridges, New Delhi; Intercontinental the Grand, New Delhi; Jaypee Palace Hotel & Convention Centre, Agra and Park Plaza Gurgaon.
