LUX* Resorts & Hotels has announced the appointment of Mr. Joe Wu as Managing Director – China & South East Asia to oversee the Mauritius-based group’s expanding presence in China. Born and raised in China, Joe graduated with a B.Sc. in Economics from Tsinghua University and went on to further education in the United Kingdom, receiving an M.Sc. in Real Estate Economics and Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science. Joe is also a Real Estate Appraiser of the China National Real Estate Appraiser Association as well as a Chartered Surveyor of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors of the United Kingdom. With a real estate background in DTZ Real Estate Consulting in Hong Kong and HVS Hotel Consulting, Joe brings an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Chinese hotel and property market that will be invaluable as LUX* looks to further its presence in the region.
