Shin Siow has been named Vice President Legal Asia Pacific at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific

Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific today announced the appointment of Shin Siow to the position of Vice President Legal Asia Pacific to be based in Singapore. Shin’s main focus will be to provide strategic legal advice in relation to Wyndham’s new vacation ownership club, CLUB WYNDHAM ASIA®, and the growth of Wyndham Hotel Group’s rapidly expanding Asian portfolio. Shin boasts expertise in a wide range of hotel and vacation ownership matters gleaned from more than 25 years’ legal experience, 15 of which were in the hospitality industry in Australia, South East Asia and North East Asia. He assisted in Marriott Vacation Club’s expansion into Hong Kong and Japan, as well as the establishment of the Anantara Vacation Club in Thailand and its expansion into Indonesia and China. Shin was previously employed by Wyndham Vacation Resorts between 2000 and 2006 before taking a position with Marriott Vacation Club Asia Pacific in Singapore. Most recently he was the Vice President Legal at Minor International in Thailand where he dealt with timeshare and hotel matters. He is conversant in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hakka and Bahasa Malaysia. Shin re-joined the Wyndham family on July 1.
