Claudia Wattenberg has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Cambridge

Hyatt Regency Cambridge today announces the selection of Claudia Wattenberg as general manager. In this role, Wattenberg will be responsible for all aspects of Hyatt Regency Cambridges operations to include, sales, marketing, financial, human resources and hotel operations. Wattenberg will also oversee the re-launch and repositioning of Hyatt Regency Cambridge following the debut of its newly renovated meeting and event space. Wattenberg joins Hyatt Regency Cambridge with extensive experience in the hospitality industry and 26 years with Hyatt, most recently from Hyatt Escala Lodge in Park City, Utah, where she served as general manager for the past four years. I am delighted to be in Boston with the opportunity to lead an incredibly committed group of hotel professionals, each with their own commitment to quality, guest service and innovation, said Wattenberg. After spending four great years at Hyatt Escala Lodge, both professionally and personally, I look forward to this new and exciting challenge. Wattenberg grew up in Bonn, Germany and began her Hyatt career with Hyatt Regency Cologne. Progressing through management roles while gaining knowledge and experience, Wattenberg worked her way up to Director of Rooms at Hyatt Regency Maui. Throughout her career, Wattenberg held leadership roles in the Rooms Division at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport and Maui and as general manager at Hyatt Escala Lodge in Park City. Wattenberg, a graduate of Cornell University, enjoys travel and horseback riding. As her family still resides in Germany she moves to Boston with her dog, Emmy.
