AccorHotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Sherer to the role of General Manager at the new Novotel New Plymouth hotel, which is currently under construction and due to open in November 2015.A passionate hotelier with over 13 years’ experience working for major international hotel groups in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Sam marks more than ten years with AccorHotels with his first general manager appointment at Novotel New Plymouth. No stranger to the Novotel brand, Sam comes to New Plymouth from his previous role as Executive Assistant Manager at Novotel Queenstown Lakeside, where he spent over 18 months further establishing his strong leadership skills and hospitality experience. In his new role at Novotel New Plymouth, Sam will manage AccorHotels’ newest property in the country and plans to work closely with the local community and tourism partners to introduce and build the presence of the new hotel in New Zealand and abroad.
