Michael Rayburn has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Suncadia Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel

Rayburn is no stranger to the hospitality world, having begun his career during a summer internship at Marriott’s Tan-Tar Resort in Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks while studying restaurant, hotel, institutional and tourism management at Purdue University. He found his passion for sales and marketing while working at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa in Vail, Colo., discovering the thrill and sense of achievement that comes with closing business deals and building client relationships. Since then, Rayburn has successfully directed large sales teams at five premier properties resulting in record production and two “Sales Team of the Year Awards” from Sage Hospitality and Renaissance Hotels. A love of the outdoors has brought Rayburn and his vast skillset to Suncadia, where he can easily enjoy his hobbies of paddle boarding, biking, hiking and golfing, in addition to spending time with his family. Rayburn looks forward to promoting the beautiful and unique property, “the vast scope of nature and stunning beauty allows visitors to keep returning for new and fulfilling experiences,” says Rayburn. “I look forward to implementing a strategic sales and marketing plan with my team, so more visitors can discover this wonderful place, establish traditions and begin making cherished memories.”
