Danesh Bamji has been appointed as General Manager Franchise Australia at AccorHotels

AccorHotels is pleased to announce that Danesh Bamji has been named General Manger Franchise Australia. Danesh is now based in AccorHotels Sydney corporate office and will report to Lindsay Leeser, Vice President Development and Vice President Franchise Pacific. Danesh has over 20 year’s hospitality experience with his most recent roles including General Manager of the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach and Novotel Sydney Central. No stranger to the Franchise business, Danesh has an extensive knowledge of the AccorHotels Franchise network having worked with the Rockford Group from 2004 until 2010. Danesh will be responsible to growing the franchise network for AccorHotels in Australia. AccorHotels has been the pioneering hotel group for franchising in Australia and New Zealand, and the group is anticipating that it will secure its 100th franchise hotel in the next 12 months. AccorHotels has expanded its Franchise team to reflect the importance of this growing network and is on track to double its current franchise network in the Pacific region in just three years, adding a new hotel every 4 weeks on average. Mr Leeser was appointed to the role of Vice President Operations Franchise on 1 July 2015 to complement his existing position of Vice President Development Pacific which he has held at AccorHotels since 2008.
