The south coast is soon set to benefit from a vibrant new Hilton hotel in the cosmopolitan seaside town of Bournemouth. As excitement builds, Hilton Bournemouth has announced its senior management team who will be steering the helm of the new hotel. Leading the way is Cedric Horgnies, general manager, Calum Manekshaw, director of operations, and Rachel Smith, director of sales. Horgnies joins the team with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, which has taken him around the globe from China to Madagascar, while providing pivotal support to more than 11 Hilton hotels. His vibrant portfolio has given him a vast wealth of knowledge to bring to his new role as general manager. In this position he will be responsible for launching the hotel and seeing it firmly become an intrinsic addition to Bournemouth’s hospitality offering. Horgnies, Manekshaw and Smith all live in Bournemouth or the surrounding area. Horgnies is an enthusiastic water sportsman, and particularly enjoys sailing.
