Peter Nichols has been appointed as National Director at National Hospitality Group

Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate investment services firm, has named Peter Nichols as national director of its National Hospitality Group. Most recently, Nichols was SVP of business development with Richfield Hospitality. Nichols will be filling the role previosuly occupied by Gregory LaBerge, who is now Marcus & Millichap’s chief administrative officer. “Our clients in the hospitality sector will benefit greatly from Peter’s knowledge and leadership skills, as will the NHG’s investment specialists,” LaBerge said. Nichols’ experience includes acting as regional and general manager of Promus Hotels, now Hilton, followed by four years as president and founder of Signature Hotel Group, where he worked in the acquisition of boutique hotels. In 2003, he joined as a VP at hotel brokerage firm Hodges Ward Elliot, where he worked 10 years in the listing, marketing and sale of more than 250 hotels, totaling nearly $6 billion in hotel transactions. Most recently, at Richfield Hospitality, Nichols managed a team of senior-level executives on acquisitions, underwriting, due diligence and hospitality investments.

Peter Nichols is an alumnus of Johnson & Wales University – Class of 1989.
