Marshall Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management and services company that operates properties nationwide, announced today that Dana McGrath Mayberry has been named general manager of the 56-room Appomattox Inn and Suites: Professionally Managed by Marshall Hotels, a boutique hotel to be located in historic Appomattox, Va. Currently under construction, the hotel is expected to open during Spring 2016. Previously, Mayberry owned and operated the Longacre Bed and Breakfast, also located in Appomattox, where she worked closely with the local community on numerous weddings, events and overnight accommodations. Prior to that, she worked with such leading hotel brands as Radisson Hotels and InterContinental Hotel Group. She is a graduate of Appomattox County High School and Bauder College in Atlanta, Ga., with an Associate’s Degree in Merchandising.
