Hilton Grant Hastings has been appointed as General Manager at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

Hilton Grant Hastings
A native of South Africa and true outdoorsman, Hilton once trekked the coast of Mozambique with only a cloth sack on his back, nourished by the fruit of the sea and hospitality of the locals. He entered his first resort management role in Madagascar as a watersport and marina manager at Anjajavy L’Hotel. From there, he enjoyed steady career growth into various positions from assistant general manager, resident manager to general manager. In 2007, Hilton joined Constance Hotels and Resorts and managed resorts in Madagascar, Maldives and most recently in Seychelles. Hilton has a degree in Industrial Psychology, Marketing and Communication and earned several useful certificates such as: Golf Course Management; Royal Yacht Masters Ocean Sailing Skipper; Cornell Hospitality Management; Structural Surveying from BABTIE Engineering UK. Hilton is also a natural linguist fluent in Afrikaans, French and English with some Italian, Malagasy and Zulu. Hilton is married to Anna, a doctor of Marine Biology.
