Marloes Wensink has been named General Manager of the Year at InterCityHotels

The purpose of the General Manager of the Year Awards, which were presented at this year's Steigenberger Business Conference in Amsterdam, is to recognise outstanding performances by Hotel Directors in the group. Marloes Wensink has worked for the company since 2014. She is Director of the InterCityHotel Enschede, which opened for business in January and is the first hotel in the Netherlands to operate under the InterCityHotel brand. "Marloes Wensink has ensured an excellent launch for the first hotel under our brand to open in the Netherlands by achieving superb sales figures and an above-average level of room occupancy," said Joachim Marusczyk, Executive Vice President of InterCityHotels. Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG, added: "Our Business Conference motto is: ‘Steigenberger goes ON – TraditiON, PassiON, VisiON'.
