French Hotelier David G. Daguise has been appointed General Manager of SO Sofitel Hua Hin scheduled to open in February 2016. Mr. Daguise brings more than 20 years of management and marketing experience to the task. Since his foray into Accor in 2010, he worked in various role prior including resident manager at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra and most recently he opened the first MGallery property in Myanmar – The Lake Garden Nay Pyi Taw – as General Manager. He began his hospitality career in Europe, followed by the resort islands of the Caribbean and Indian Ocean and finally set his pace to Asia in 2009. Passionate about his work, and committed to providing the finest possible guest experience, his career evolved through various roles at the leadership and executive management levels.
