Ronald Dooremalen has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Raffles Hotel Singapore

Raffles Hotel Singapore is proud to announce the appointment of Ronald Dooremalen as Hotel Manager with effect from 1 February 2016. He will oversee the efficient management of hotel’s operational divisions. Ronald brings with him over a decade of illustrious experience in the hospitality industry. He holds a degree in Business Administration in Hotel Management from Hotel school The Hague, International Institute for Hospitality Management, A Member of the Leading Hotel Schools of the World. Ronald started his hospitality career in 2003 and has garnered a strong operational background in the industry with his years of global experience with leading hotels in China, Singapore, United Kingdom (UK), Dubai, Egypt and Seychelles, including The Savoy, The Fairmont Hotels, Raffles, Ritz Carlton and JW Marriott. Prior to joining Raffles, Ronald was the Director of Operations for Raffles Praslin, Seychelles. Ronald was deeply involved in the strategic development pertaining to brand conversions for Fairmont Singapore and provided instrumental on-location leadership to the pre-opening teams of Fairmont Beijing China, Fairmont Yangcheng Lake in Kunshan, China and The Savoy, London, UK. In 2013, he was appointed as the Executive Director, Rooms, FRHI Hotels & Resorts, Dubai, UAE; where he was responsible for driving the group’s key strategic goals including Guest Satisfaction for the brands under the portfolio, Brand Standard compliance and developing young leaders.

Ronald Dooremalen is an alumnus of Hotelschool The Hague – Class of 2003.
