Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas Downtown, which is slated to open in mid-March, announces the appointment of Rick Crain as General Manager and Brooke Danielsen as Director of Sales of the 176-room hotel property in downtown Dallas. NewcrestImage, a hotel development, construction and management firm based in Lewisville, Texas, owns the hotel. Danielsen began her hospitality career in 2008 as a sales manager for InterMountain Management – TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Plano, Texas. She later joined the InterMountain team as director of sales in Louisiana for two years, and later became task force director of sales where she trained and supported sales managers for many brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Starwood and IHG. In 2012, she left to serve as dual director of sales for Texas Western Hospitality – SpringHill Suites by Marriott Downtown and Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown in Dallas. Having worked in a variety of sales arenas and markets, Danielsen is well-versed in what it takes to lead strong and effective sales teams and will bring a lot to the table in her new role. An Atlanta, Texas, native, Danielsen attended the University of North Texas, where she studied Communications and Marketing.
