Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management company in Wisconsin and division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that Jeff Stewart has been appointed general manager of the Sheraton Madison hotel in Madison, Wis. Stewart joined Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2015 as hotel manager at the AAA-Four Diamond Hilton Milwaukee City Center in Milwaukee, Wis. He previously was director of operations at Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, where he served since 2007. Stewart began his hospitality career in 2000 with Hyatt Hotels Corporation at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. During his 15-year tenure with Hyatt, he held a variety of management roles in the areas of stewarding, restaurants and banquets at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Hyatt Regency Chicago and Hyatt Regency Boston. Stewart has a bachelor’s degree in hospitality from Eastern Illinois University.
