Kara Gugel has been appointed as Banquet Manager at Hilton Madison and Sheraton Madison hotels

Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel management company in Wisconsin and division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced the addition of Kara Gugel as banquets manager for both the Hilton Madison and Sheraton Madison hotels. Gugel joined Marcus Hotels & Resorts in 2014 as banquets supervisor for the Madison hotels and served as lead host for the Capitol ChopHouse. She then accepted the role as Manager in Training for the Hilton Madison hotel, where she spent time in various departments including event management, sales, and front desk. Gugel has a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and an event planning certification from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.
