Aaron Greenman has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Acquisitions & Development, Europe at Interstate Hotels & Resorts

Interstate Hotels & Resorts – the leading U.S.-based global hotel management company – recently announced the promotion of Aaron Greenman as executive vice president of acquisitions & development for Europe. Reporting directly to Leslie Ng, Interstate’s chief investment officer, Greenman continues to oversee all business development in Europe, including Russia/CIS. Previously, Greenman was Interstate’s senior vice president of acquisitions & development for Europe. During his tenure with the company, Interstate has added approximately 100 management agreements under Greenman’s guidance, making Europe one of Interstate’s fastest growing regions. Greenman joined Interstate in 2007 as head of development in India, and was promoted in 2010 to senior vice president of acquisitions & development for Europe, and collaborating closely with his European colleagues to build on the Company’s platform in the region. Prior to Greenman’s career in India, he was managing director for AFEX Group in Nairobi, Kenya, responsible for a company with 600 employees with operations throughout East Africa, and earlier was a senior manager in Ernst and Young LLP’s real estate advisory services practice, based in Boston, New York and Miami. He earned a Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College.
