Abhishek Shankar has been appointed as Sales Manager at Café Royal

The iconic Café Royal, London, a hotel of The Set, is delighted to announce expansion of its senior team: Abhishek Shankar has been recruited as Sales Manager. Abhishek Shankar has joined the sales team at Café Royal and comes with a wealth of experience in the industry, having previously held both the positions of Sales Manager at Brown’s Hotel and Associate Manager of Travel Trade and Business Development at The Leading Hotels of the World. Abhishek has also gained experience working abroad with De L’Europe Amsterdam Hotel, another member of The Leading Hotels of The World, and Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Working with the sales team at Café Royal, Abhishek will have the responsibility of managing the Groups market in the UK, with his main focus being to maximise groups revenue from UK MICE agencies and DMC’s based in London.

Abhishek Shankar is an alumnus of Glion Institute of Higher Education – Class of 2007.
