oydeep Ghosh has recently been re-appointed as Director, Sales and Marketing at Mövenpick Hotel and Spa Bangalore. Joydeep brings with him an extensive experience in sales and marketing geographical boundaries. At Mӧvenpick Hotel and Spa Bangalore his role would be to add on to the existing sales revenue, get new companies on board and to look after the smooth operations of sales and marketing. He will be actively involved in strategizing and planning of marketing initiatives. His responsibilities will also involve leading the team to achieve the sales targets and motivating them. With enriched experience of over 20 years, Joydeep will take Mӧvenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore to new heights and ascertain for gaining its market share and highlighting the flagship property of Mӧvenpick Hotels and Resorts in India. He started his career with a role in the Food & Beverage department at The Oberoi New Delhi post, which he moved to the prestigious Burj Al Arab in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With over twenty years of experience in Hospitality, FMCG, Mall Management and Marketing, he has developed strong relationships in these fields. Joydeep was also associated with the Habtoor Hotels in Dubai, UAE and took up the challenge in sales as Sales Manager working his way up to Director of Sales and Marketing with City Seasons, Mӧvenpick Hotels and Resorts, Warwick International and Accor Hotels. He was also instrumental in restructuring the Mӧvenpick Towers and Suites, Doha, Qatar. Joydeep believes “A good mix of professionalism and humour can take you places”. In his free time Joydeep likes to take on the roads with his bike and also enjoys trying his skills with music. Joydeep moves back to Bangalore with his two daughters and wife.
