Max Messmer has been appointed as Director of Food & Beverage at Hilton Sandestin Beach

Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa, the largest full-service beachfront resort on Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast, has announced the appointment of Angelina Covington as hotel operations manager and Max Messmer as director of food and beverage. With more than 15 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Messmer was director of food and beverage at the Courtyard Resort at Coconut Beach in Kapaa, Hawaii, before joining Hilton Sandestin Beach. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage department at the resort, including restaurant, lounge, kitchen, catering and banquets, Messmer worked with the managers and chef to maximize revenue and profits and minimize expenses, costs and labor. Prior to his time in Kapaa, Messmer worked as director of food and beverage at North 40 lodging in Union, Washington and corporate director of food and beverage at Access Golf in Redmond, Washington. As the director of food and beverage at Hilton Sandestin Beach, Messmer will oversee operations of the resort’s food and beverage department, as well as in-room dining and banquet services.
