Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Mr. Christoph Hoeflich as General Manager of Marco Polo Shenzhen. He was previously Hotel Manager of the three Marco Polo hotels in Hong Kong. Mr. Hoeflich has over 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, with vast international experience in Germany, Switzerland, France, India, Dubai, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the United States and Brunei. He possesses years of senior management and hotel pre-opening experience for numerous renowned international brands such as Westin, Sheraton, Four Seasons, Kempinski and Hilton. First joining the Hong Kong properties in 2011, Mr. Hoeflich restructured and strategically consolidated the key operational divisions of the three hotels into a central management platform in 2013 in order to achieve maximum efficiency. In so doing, he streamlined manning across the three hotels, introduced new guidelines while maintaining the highest product quality and service standards and spearheaded the current renovation programme for Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel, Prince Hotel and Gateway Hotel.
