Mark Wachal will take over the reins at the Steigenberger Hotel Bremen with effect from 1 September. He will succeed Carlton Courtney, who will now head up the InterCityHotel Gelsenkirchen. Having originally trained as a cook, Mr. Wachal can look back on more than 25 years of experience in the hotel business. Over recent years, he has held the position of General Manager at various hotel chains in Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
