With a new leader at the helm, Courtyard Cypress Anaheim/Orange County continues to strengthen its driven passion for delivering unparalleled customer service. Rick Garcia, who is originally from Chula Vista, California, trekked nearly 3,500 miles from Anchorage, Alaska to assume his brand-new managerial position. Garcia entered the hospitality field in 2006 at Remington Hotels. For over four years, he climbed his way up by in serving multiple roles, including night auditor, PBX operator and front desk supervisor. He then took over as front office supervisor at Evan Hotels for a little over a year. In 2011, Garcia accepted his first general manager position at Holiday Inn Express. During the beginning of 2013, he headed up to Alaska to undertake a few managerial roles, most recently at Hampton Inn Anchorage.
