Leading international hotel operator Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has announced the addition of a key member of staff to oversee its well-known Inverness property. Zsolt Balogh has been appointed General Manager of the four-star, two AA rosette Macdonald Drumossie Hotel on the outskirts of the city. He brings to the role more than 20 years of experience in sales, training, hospitality and catering. Hungarian-born Mr Balogh joined Macdonald Hotels & Resorts in 2013 as Food and Beverage Director at the Macdonald Aviemore Highland Resort before becoming General Manager at the company’s Perthshire Macdonald Loch Rannoch property.
