CHMWarnick (CHMW), the leading hotel asset management and owner advisory services company, today appointed Maxine Taylor senior vice president of asset management. In her new role, Taylor will oversee asset management operations from the company’s new San Francisco office, which brings CHMW’s total to eight offices across the country. Additionally, she will grow the company’s asset management capabilities for a client portfolio of first-class, full-service convention, airport and luxury hotels, creating a stronger presence and expanding services to clients with a growing number of investments in Hawaii and the western region of the U.S. With the company’s recent West Coast expansion, CHMW’s hotel asset management portfolio now includes more than 60 hotels comprising approximately 25,000 rooms totaling $15 billion in assets. With more than 25 years of hospitality experience, Taylor has worked with some of the most respected industry names and holds high honors and recognition in significant hospitality circles. Most recently, Taylor served as Hospitality Asset Management Association (HAMA) international chair, was named their vice president for 2017 and remains an active speaker at top industry events. Prior to rejoining CHMW, Taylor held the positions of executive vice president of asset management at Chartres Lodging Group and vice president of asset management at Capital Hotel Management. She also worked with Horwath Landauer Hospitality Consulting, as well as with The Ritz-Carlton hotels in Florida and Georgia and was a professor of hospitality management at Edison Community College. Other industry affiliations include the Starwood Owners Advisory Council, the Association of Sheraton Franchisees of North America (ASFONA) and the Consumer Innovation Forum (CIF). Taylor received her master’s in Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami and is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). Prestigious honors include the 2014 “Women of Influence” award from Real Estate Forum and the 2011 recognition by the San Francisco Business Times as one of East Bay’s “Most Influential Women.” Additionally, Taylor is founding chair of Chartres Lodging Group’s philanthropic organization, “No Reservations Giving,” a program created to help nonprofits that provide food, shelter and education to the needy.
