Jamie Welch has been appointed as Executive Chef at London Marriott Hotel County Hall

Jamie Welch
Jamie Welch has been appointed executive chef at the recently refurbished 206-bedroom London Marriott Hotel County Hall. A Marriott employee for 15 years, Welch joins the hotel from sister property, the London Marriott Grosvenor Square, where he played a key role in establishing the hotel’s meeting spaces and catering concept Meetings Imagined, which was later rolled out globally. He has also worked at the Marriott Meon Valley in Southampton and the Marriott Hotel Sisli in Turkey. Welch, a one-time Marriott Chef of the Year, said he was “thrilled” to be joining the hotel at this time. Welch replaces Sylvan Chevereau, who only joined the hotel in February this year, having previously been executive chef at the St Ermin’s hotel in Westminster.
