Michael Hewson has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford

Emirates Old Trafford is to welcome Michael Hewson as General Manager of the new Hilton Garden Inn which opens in 2017. Hewson brings over 17 years’ experience and arrives from The Academy Hotel in Bloomsbury, London where he held the position of General Manager. Previously to that, Michael worked at the 5 star Marriott, Threadneedles Hotel and the County Hall Hotel in London. The new hotel at Emirates Old Trafford, operated by Lancashire County Cricket Club under a franchise agreement with Hilton Garden Inn, will replace the Old Trafford Lodge and is due to be completed in the summer of 2017 in time for the Fourth Investec Test Match between England and South Africa, starting on Friday 4th August.
