Susana Marín Coe-Archer has been appointed as General Manager at Almanac Barcelona

Almanac Hotels is proud to announce the appointment of Susana Marín Coe-Archer as General Manager of their landmark hotel Almanac Barcelona opening in the summer of 2017. The hotel will be located at Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 619-621. The property is comprised of 92 luxurious accommodations and has undergone a complete renovation over the last two years. Almanac Barcelona is steps from Paseo de Gracia, where guests can find shopping, restaurants, bars and museums. The hotel will feature a distinctive rooftop pool, bar and lounge – Azimuth – and for dining, Línia, a Mediterranean brasserie, will offer an all-day dining and sharing menu where locals and traveler’s lives will intersect from morning to night. Ms. Marín Coe-Archer brings a wealth of hospitality experience (26 years) to her position at Almanac Barcelona. Susana started her professional career at the JW Marriott in Texas. Following that, she became a member of the sales team in her hometown at Hotel Arts Barcelona (a Ritz- Carlton hotel) and was later promoted to the position of Quality Director. After opening both the Axel Hotel and The Pulitzer Hotel she most recently she served as General Manager for nine years at Casa Camper Barcelona building a team, setting the standards, philosophy and culture of the company. Simultaneously she was responsible for operations at the Casa Camper Berlin.

Susana Marín Coe-Archer is an alumnus of University of Houston – Class of 1998.
