Thomas Gassner has been appointed general manager for Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara, which is scheduled to open in mid-2017. Prior to his new role, Gassner was the hotel manager of Pullman Jakarta Indonesia and Pullman Bali Legian Nirwana. A German native, Gassner has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He joined AccorHotels in 2004 as F&B manager at Sofitel Munich Bayerpost and has held various senior management positions within the group.
