Omni Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Manuel Deisen as General Manager of the hotel. Deisen joins the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center from the Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta, Ga., where he has been the property’s General Manager since 2012. Throughout his career, he has held numerous leadership positions at a number of Ritz-Carlton properties, including Florida’s Amelia Island, Orlando Grande Lakes, Golf Resort Naples, as well as Boston Common in Massachusetts, among others. He attended the SITC, International Training Centre for the Hospitality and Leisure Time Industries in Tête-de-Ran, Switzerland, where he earned a degree in hotel management and operations. He is fluent in English, German and French and is active in the Atlanta community serving as a board member for Central Atlanta Progress and as an executive committee member for the Atlanta Hotel Council, GHLA.
