Splendid Hospitality Group has appointed Philip Bolson as the general manager for York-based Grand Hotel and Spa. The hotel, which is York’s only five-star property is in its final stages of a £15m redevelopment. Bolson previously worked as an operations director for Splendid Hospitality Group, overseeing the management of hotels across the group’s portfolio.
