SaltRock Southwest Kitchen at Kimpton Amara Resort and Spa in Sedona, Ariz. has hired Tommy Girrbach as General Manager. Bringing over a decade of experience in hospitality and restaurant management to the team, Girrbach most recently served as the general manager of 39 Degrees at The Sky Hotel in Aspen, where some of the biggest aprs parties for locals and tourists alike took place at the base of Ajax Mountain. Girrbach first joined the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants team in 2012, when he landed the job as floor manager of Atwood Caf. It was while managing at Atwood, Girrbach fell in love with the Kimpton brand and everything they stood for and was eagerly moved around to sister restaurants across the country. Girrbach began at SaltRock in April 2017 and when he's not working he can be found hiking and jeeping the trails around Sedona, exploring, traveling or snowboarding.
