Sanjeev Shukla has been appointed as Preopening Director of Sales and Marketing at Six Senses Uluwatu Bali

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is pleased to announce the appointment of Sanjeev Shukla as director of sales and marketing for their upcoming resort in Bali Indonesia –Six Senses Uluwatu. The resort, scheduled to open in 2018, is set cliff top with spectacular views of the island’s revered Uluwatu Temple. With 28 sky villas, 62 one-bedroom villas and seven two-bedroom villas, the resort draws upon local culture, embraces nature and offers every creature comfort.A native of India and a technophile, Sanjeev began his career in the hospitality sector with The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts in India as a sales executive, growing to a sales manager. In 2005, he joined The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts in Goa, India as a head of sales and grew into the role of director of international sales for the group while being responsible for managing their marketing alliance with Kempinski. After a two-year stint at The Claridges Hotels & Resorts in New Delhi as the general manager of sales and marketing for the Group, Sanjeev joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts as director of marketing in 2009 for Mumbai and Moscow. He was subsequently promoted to the senior director of marketing, and transferred to Bali in 2016, with the sales and marketing responsibility for the two Four Seasons Resorts in Ubud and Jimbaran Bay. Sanjeev has a Degree in Hospitality Management from Southern Cross University, Sydney. A technophile, gamer and an avid reader, he is also a certified pilot on the Boeing 777 – 200/300 on the flight simulator. Sanjeev and his wife Malavika are committed travelers and enjoy exploring new destinations. His multi destination and multi locational sales and marketing experience is intertwined with his passion for the high-end hospitality industry.
