Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC is pleased to welcome back, Michael Deltette as Director of Catering Sales. In this role, Mr. Deltette will oversee catering sales efforts for the luxury waterfront hotel, located in Southwest, DC. Mr. Delette returns to Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC with over 25 years of hospitality and event management experience. Previously, he held the position of Director of Catering at Mandarin Oriental, Washington DC from 2007 – 2010. Through his career, Mr. Delette has gained extensive experience in luxury catering and fine dining, both within the Washington, DC market and internationally. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Catering & Events at The Watergate Hotel, before and after the hotel’s renovation, as well as serving as Director of Catering at the Park Hyatt, Washington. Mr. Delette’s wide range of experiences within hotel operations include, Food and Beverage Manager, General Manager of The Capitol View Club at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC and Director of Catering Sales with The Compass Group.
