Karlee Ferris has been appointed as Business Development Manager at The Goodland, a Kimpton Hotel

In her new role, Ms Ferris will be responsible for increasing exposure and revenue for the 158-room Santa Barbara hotel through the development of current and potential client relationships, programming management, including live music and specialty promotions, and expansion of social media. With nearly ten years of hospitality experience, Ms Ferris brings creativity and passion to the hotel, with an eye for social media content and a knack for motivating sales teams. She comes to the Goodland from Kimpton Hotel Palomar San Diego where she spent nearly two years as the Group Lead Coordinator. There, Ms Ferris was responsible for prospecting various target market segments and handling all social media accounts, significantly and organically increasing online engagement and following. Prior to Hotel Palomar San Diego, Ms Ferris spent over two years as group sales coordinator at Estancia Hotel & Spa in La Jolla, Calif.
