Viceroy Snowmass, one of Colorado’s top year-round modern luxury mountain resorts, is pleased to announce Robert Purdy as General Manager effective Monday, July 31. Purdy’s 30+ years of hospitality experience informs his hands-on approach to day-to-day operations of the hotel, upholding and furthering Viceroy Snowmass’ commitment to providing intuitive service and exceptional guest experiences. Purdy’s many achievements in leadership spans across the United States with deep history at Hyatt Hotels. He joins Viceroy Snowmass having served as General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino where he grew customer service scores to record levels, as well as Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa in Colorado where he lead the hotel to all-time profitability and revenue levels. Purdy further worked in various sales and marketing roles within Hyatt Hotels in destinations such as Monterey, San Diego, Hilton Head, Las Vegas and Chicago. Purdy is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned his B.S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management.

Robert Purdy is an alumnus of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) – Class of 1985.
